J'utilise My Music Staff depuis déjà un an. D'abord réticents à l'utiliser, les membres de mon équipe sont charmés par ses fonctionnalités.

La section Ressources en ligne pourrait être plus fonctionnelle.

La manière dont il gère les choses en toute professionnalisme

Ça traîne un peu mais c'est pas trop méchant

Ce que j'ai le plus aimé, c'est sa facilité à pouvoir accordé les notes. En plus il est facile à utilisé

Pour ma part je n'ai pas trouvé d'inconvénient particulier pour ce logiciel. C'est juste Wow

C'est un très bon logiciel de musique très fiable

Je vous le recommande vivement. Je n'ai pas grand chose à reprocher

Every music teacher starting out should use this. It just does everything correct and helps streamline lots of things for you!

Probably better organisation of the lesson resources and repertoire where possible

MMS is easy to use and easy to integrate into our business protocols. It helps tremendously in keeping us organized and limits the need for tons of paperwork and binders.

Missing Features:- Capability to take swiped card transaction- An easier way to track the difference between make-up lessons that were given due to teacher absence versus student absence in the student profile. Currently all issued make-up credits are grouped together in each student's profile, but since we have our studio policies set to where the students aren't penalized for teacher absences and they have a set limit of make-up credits they can receive for student absences per year it is very hard for us to track.

The best part of the system, and by far the most used for us is the scheduling. Not only does in make keeping track of our lessons very simple and straightforward, we can very quickly make changes, and even provide our teachers with access so they can stay on top of their schedules. In addition, being able to synchronize the MMS calendars to Google Calendar or Apple Calendars means that I can see an updated schedule on my phone at any moment. I also love their automated payment system which has removed the need to chase down students/parents for tuition payments; everything goes through automatically at the end of the month and we can rely on a consistent stream of income to cover expense and make sure everyone is paid on time.

The only thing I don't like about MMS is the recent GUI change. I'd been using the earlier system for many years and have become quite comfortable with where everything was located. The GUI updated moved some features around which has been somewhat annoying - however I'm gradually getting used to the new layouts.

Easy and intuitive inner face. Very easy to train schools' managers and staff. Teachers love My Music Staff. Especially transparency of payroll.

Student setup has too many steps and too much going back and forth between steps.

Manages all aspects of my music school including scheduling and invoicing! I couldn’t carry 50+ students without My Music Staff!

Some things are tricky to find or figure out. But the customer service is so good, it doesn’t take long before my problem is solved!

It really helps me run my business. From collecting waitlist information, scheduling classes, collecting payments, and keeping track of business expenses for tax time, it has been easy to use and helps take a lot of the busy work of running a music school off my plate. I also really like the make-up credit option for my piano students.

It is confusing to start. The learning curve is steep. I also don't like that the website has to be encrypted onto my current website, because my current website is through Canva, which doesn't allow encryption.

I honestly wouldn't be able to do this job without Mymusicstaff. It's works like a well oiled machine with everything linking in. On the odd occasion I've needed technical support, this has been easy and timely.

Literally can't think of anything - all I need is included.

There’s so much stuff that it was hard to remember where to find what

I enjoy that I can schedule students, personal and professional on my calendar. The automated system for reminders and invoices are a Godsend and I couldn’t live without it! 8+ years of using MMS and it’s been a game changer.

The updates, it’s not super user friendly and I have to go through trial and error to understand the new features vs having a clear explanation of things that changed. The site does trip up at times and doesn’t show what I am looking for, like the calendar won’t open to the following week and I’ll have to try multiple times.

Convenience. A one stop administration platform.

I work from a place with poor connectivity so I think it would be helpful if it was in an app and all the info just stored on my phone through the app. Sometimes I can access info when I need to because of this.

MMS has simplified my admin by a huge amount. There are loads of features that I use daily, and more that I haven't explored yet.

It is only set up for individual, regular students. You can add students to a group, but you can't then give individual feedback (unless things have changed since I last tried to use that). You can't bill anything unless there is a person set up in the system. I provide accompaniment services as well as tuition, but I can't use this system to bill my one off accompaniments; I have to create a profile, then add them to the calendar, and only then can I bill them. I'd like an option to create a charge/invoice without a client being attached to that. I've worked around this by creating a fictional student named "Rehearsal" who gets billed for every accompaniment, and if I need to email an invoice rather than just adding it to my income stream I go in a change the individual email.I'd also like an auto reminder system for overdue invoices so I don't have to go in manually to see who hasn't paid. I do like that there are templates for invoices and reminders.The other feature I'd use every day if it existed would be the ability to create a lesson plan for individual students that they cannot see until I publish it. I lesson plan sometimes several days in advance and like to edit it to become their lesson notes. I can review previous lesson notes but if I edit it it is immediately able to be seen by them.

I love that this does everything for me - online library, booking, billing, record keeping, linking to my website. I will NEVER go back to the way I used to do things.

There are a few bugs and tricky things to figure out - like setting up MMS reminders, allowing students to book during cancelled lesson slots without using a makeup credit.
