Fonctionne bien mais ne s'intègre pas bien dans un site web existant, en effet lorsqu'on réserve on sort du site de l'hébergement pour être rediriger sur un site héberger par hostaway.Et de plus n'est pas traduit

Bon niveau technique, de nombreux partenariats

Inconvénients

Vendu comme étant adapté aux lois françaises ce qui est faux aucune traduction donc complètement illégal.Ils prétendent sur leur site vitrine qu'ils ont un plug-in wordpress mais en fait plus développé depuis 2021 ! et grandement inadapté.Malgré ces gros problèmes ils refusent de rembourser les 280€ pour 4 jours d'utilisation

parfois il y a des bugg. mais ils sont réglé rapidement. cependant le service technique est seulement en anglais. parfois je suis capable de me faire répondre en espagnol mais c'est rare.

We love how intuitive it is to use it. The onboarding process is very easy to follow and [sensitive content hidden] from Onboarding Team has been absolutely amazing! The integration of the OTAs has been instant, the payment system is great, the booking engine seems quite easy to use too. We've been using it for less than a month but it is already saving us so much time with the automation of all the processes.

Inconvénients

So far, the only issue we have is that there is no way to tag the apartments or mark the reservations with a tag/note "early check-in" or "luggage drop off" in the App so our team can be notified, can easily see the changes and prioritize cleaning of those apartments. That would be a brilliant addition in the future!

Hostaway has great software that works very well. When I had problems with the software the customer support worked very hard find workarounds for my business.

Avantages

I like Hostaway because the software is robust enough to create your own booking engine and manage reservations effectively. There are still many features that Hostaway can add that would allow the property manager to have more customization of the booking process but the basic tools of Hostaway work very well. The customer support is very helpful and the on-boarding experience ran very smoothly.

The lack of customization in the booking engine.

Hostaway seemed like is was the right software for my specific type of business. They work with small short term rental property managers very well. They have a large amount of funding which allows them to make their software robust but the onboarding and monthly subscription fee is manageable.

Avantages

Their support is great! After working with them for a year, we have only had one experience, out of probably 30, that was not great. They are a company that listens to their customers and strives to provide the best service. They are continuing to lead the market, grow their team, and improve their platform. Every issue we've ever had with the platform has been fixed or solved in an update. We are always pleased to log-in and get a notification of a new feature/partner/integration. It is clear they have a growth mindset and are looking to fill gaps in the market that other softwares leave you high and dry on.

Inconvénients

We've never been able to reach them by phone, so we just send our inquiries by email. Sometimes it would take several days for them to get back to us. We are hoping this wait time decreased with the new funding they just received! Their support staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

OwnerRez was an old and clunky software and could not grow with us. Other softwares we were interested in had minimums that we could not reach. We have been more than pleased with Hostaway time and time again. We made the switch based on software reviews from other users. They were an up and coming software at the time and we are glad we made the leap!

Apart from the anxiety of waiting for time critical support, I love the product and its ability for our team to use and get more direct bookings.

Avantages

I love the simplicity of using the Hostaway app, also the smooth integration of the channel manager.

Inconvénients

I would like to see the support team have team members located in the southern hemisphere, just so there is a more timely response to any issues that creep up from time to time. Service was good, however there is a significant delay in getting responses, which is really disappointing if the issue may result in major income loss. Communication was good, but if the technician asked a question there would be always be a 8 -12 hour delay before I could answer the question then I would have to wait the 12hrs for a response. The result is that it can take nearly a work week to have the issue resolved. Perhaps there needs to be a team member residing in the southern hemisphere on pacific time zone.

Inconvénients

We had their sales rep falsely represent the company and their software functionality to close the deal. Once we started we realized the tool does nothing he said it would.. beware as this will cost you more time and money than the “solutions” it gives. The tool has so many bugs and quirks.

The worst part is that 7 days later when we asked to cancel they kept our full onboarding fee and full subscription fee! Even tho they alnowleged they mis sold us, we had to dispute with our credit card because they went radio Silent. Bad business and bad software. Betters are out

Ease of use when managing channels and its integration with tools like Price Lab allow me to operate as though I have a large team behind me

Inconvénients

The onboarding process was very rocky. I even asked to have my account canceled. Since then, customer service and the Host Away Help Center has improved greatly and I am very glad I stuck it out!

Overall, this has been a good experience. I signed up with them a year ago and periodically I do a review of the competition and new entrants to see if they stack up and so far, this is the best solution for us.

Avantages

It does a lot of really great things that suit my business model perfectly. It is the best software system I could find for our budget and requirements.

My personal favourite is the webhooks and open API that I can use to build my own functions on top of.

Inconvénients

It really needs the functionality to be able to automate the security deposit for guests. That is my one problem. I would have said the financails could be improved but they just released a major update to this and it looks great.

Finally, I'd like to see some custom reports for business metrics. I currently have to download to a .csv and manually figure things out. The overview dashboard does have a decent set of metrics, but I want to see them over time.

Expensive and you had to pay extra for the actual channel manager. It was a good PMS, but it's only really useful if you have a lot of call ins or your own direct booking website that people have to enquire before booking. I wasn't a fan.

Hostaway saves me time and this is a really big thing.
We have a lot of moving parts in the hospitality business. The fact that there is a lot of automation possibilities in the product makes our lives a lot easier and time won can be focused on other Business Development tasks.

Avantages

The software is intuitive and easy to use. Clear user interface that is not complicated. The first setup is very easy and when questions arise, the helpdesk is really quick in answering.
Team is also helpful with the setup.

Most importantly, the team listens to what we, the users, are missing and will implement in fairly short time.

Inconvénients

I do not have any real cons for Hostaway product.
Like many of the similar products it does not have all in it what we would need (Like good Owners Reporting Tool) but it is 90% of what we need to run our business.

I like this company, their culture, and their obvious commitment to the client. The software is very intuitive, user-friendly, and has a fantastic design. Lastly, their customer support is exceptional. They are obviously committed to working with the client and making sure their end users are happy.

Avantages

I appreciate the simplicity and user-friendliness of Hostaway. The display is appealing to the eyes and the menus are intuitive.
Additionally, the customer support team accessibility is hugely beneficial. I can get quick answers to my questions - they are very responsive. The value of that is beyond measure for a property manager or someone who has a demanding schedule.

Inconvénients

The software could offer more templates and automation as it relates to booking and task management. There are a number of processes that take place due to different scenarios as it relates to guests, their needs, and changes in reservations. My experience thus far with Hostaway is that they are actively improving their product which is very nice.

I worked with OwnerRez for a month and a half and the onboarding was still in process. While the software was sophisticated and thorough, the onboarding process was painful. Their support is only available via an email ticketing system. I was lucky if I got a 1-2 hour meeting once a week and at the end I was criticized for needing so much support. Transitioning to a channel manager and scaling your operations from working with individual platforms is no easy task. Myself and my assistant were in flux for a very long period of time and OwnerRez did not appreciate that.

I have used another channels manager before and to compare to them this is the best!
I don't have any problems with synchronisation, no overbooking, that makes my life much easier ))

As well I save lot of time on messages. Because you can use automations in Hostaway.

This software is easy to use, big advantage is app for your phone.

And I would like to mention that this team is really working hard and they always improve this software, they listen you!

You don't need 80 channels to sell your apartment. Hostaway has enough channels for max occupancy rate.

Inconvénients

May be would be good to make an option to copy prices for another apartment (because I have 4 same apartment in the same building), so I don't need to spend my time to make prices for similar apartments.

New to Hostaway

Avantages

Having Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and our own direct booking link in one place is great. The pricing modifications between OTA's are a huge plus along with setting longer stays to be available further out is one of the features we needed. Support is great when you have questions.

Inconvénients

It is pretty complex, and is taking a while to get everything set up. It isn't as easy as setting up an Airbnb, or VRBO account, But there is much more going on between the sites. Getting things all setup and learning the steps to create a reservation, change availability, and see how those changes affect what you are trying to accomplish isn't as visible as we would like. Its an amazing powerful system, and worth going through the steps to setup and learn. We have a much larger picture in mind so baby steps are being taken for our 1st 2 properties.

Too many issues to dive into. If you value accurate financials, Hostawya will not work. If you want a system that syncs up to Airbnb or VRBO correctly, Hostaway is not the answer and you will spend hours each week re-creating your listings as Hostaway will delete the info. Support doesn't exist. You cannot reach anyone and they only actually offer email support (within 48hrs)

We were sold on the idea they had all the same features + as Guesty as a lower cost. This was not the case.

Most of their features are a shell so they can say "we offer xyz" when selling you the product.

Functionalities are almost everything I need. The overview is very good. And I never encountered a glitch, something I appreciate a lot! Also, costumer service is really good.
Pricing could be better but is OK.

Avantages

After using several other channel manager software for my 8 unit Boutique Hotel, I discovered Hostaway about 2 years ago. I truly like the integrated features for my 3 channels (Airbnb, Booking.com & own website). It gives a clear and straightforward overview of the calendar & pricing. Easy to adjust pricing by day & by channel individually.
I'm a big fan of the automated messages (set-up), as it saves us heaps of time. Also, we never encountered any issues with sending out & receiving messages (very important!). I'm a big fan.

Inconvénients

Although, I use the mobile app several times a day, it can use some adjustments. I'ts not the best app there is in form a style and overview.
On the other hand it's relatively fast & very easy to use. And also here, it always works.

Amazing overall experience.

Avantages

From the onboarding to nowadays daily use, everything has been comfortable, the support is really useful aside their help center.

Inconvénients

Nowadays, my main issue is about a calendar feature, which is pricing rule set. Indeed, it's develop for Airbnb but not yet for our Booking Engine and Abritel. The product team seems working hard to launch this new step.
Finally, maybe the app could be a bit more develop. That's really to spot detail, my overall opinion is amazing.

The support and technology are top-notched. Hostaway enables me to communicate with my team and guests to provide outstanding service and enables me to optimize my business to run more efficiently, and effectively. I wouldn't be able to grow my business so fast without Hostaway and their excellent team

Avantages

when I initially decided to move forward with Hostaway, the decision was based on features and benefits.
As I am getting more familiar with the value it offers, the support team is outstanding and hands down what I like about most. They are knowledgeable, quick, and responsive. They really do care about your business and how to help you become more successful

Inconvénients

there is a bit of a learning curve because of all the features and detailed reporting it offers. "Getting what you pay for" definitely applies here. with Hostaway you get a ton of support, a great product and the best value for a PMS.

AMAZING!!! We've been working with [sensitive content hidden] to switch over and he's made it painless. We have had 3 meetings with him and helped us import all our reservations, get our website up and running (it looks awesome) and we don't have headaches at the end of the day. We can't say enough good about [sensitive content hidden] and his help with this process. It's truly been painless.

Avantages

I LOVE that it's easy to use the software and makes sense! We've been through a couple changes and attempted changes over the years and spent months trying to get set up. We've been with Hostaway for one week and are already so far ahead of where we came from.

Inconvénients

I haven't found a single thing we don't love about Hostaway.

Avantages

We did several demos on different PMS companies. What I learned is that everyone offers something different. Hands down, Hostaway has been the best fit for our needs and the customer service is nothing short of top-notch. Highly recommend them!!!

Inconvénients

Every software is not going to have all your needs but Hostaway has worked with me, listened, and responded to all my needed request. I'd love to see automated smart responses and few other efficiencies added to the PMS but this company is passionate and committed to working with the client and I feel like a partner with this team rather than a customer. I'm a big fan :)

Overall experience with Hostaway is horrific. I strongly recommend people to look elsewhere! Hostaway have a wonderful idea, but no interest in achieving it nor ensuring customer satisfaction. Customer support is a joke as they do not help or have knowledge in solving your issue. There is no phone number, so if you are in a emergency please expect 5-15 days before you receive any notification from Hostaway.

Avantages

Easy to navigate and have clear view of dashboard, reservations, finances, customer list and integrations with varius thirdparty programs.

Inconvénients

When integrating with different channels, Hostaway tends to falsify its reports. That is, several accommodations were wrong dates and had the wrong sum/fee. This caused the financial report to be inconclusive with wrong data and history. This is one of the major issue of using Hostaway, make sure you stick to one fixed amount before integrating.

Exceptionally poor and amateurish business experience with Hostaway. No additional value compared to other platforms that cost half as much. Awkward set up experience with lots of hidden settings that should be defaulted. You are contractually obligated to pay for set up when it should be free. The fact that you have to pay someone to show you how to set up a listing is indicative of how bad their software is. And yes I have set up listings on other platforms before without needing any guidance.Dismal documentation and useless support. Takes days to get an answer - if you even get an answer. They probably can't train up people fast enough because the software is so poorly designed. No excuse is acceptable for the poor support for paying customers.I deleted all my listings and then they re-appeared again, probably as an excuse to bill me. Have to dispute charges because Hostaway is charging for additional listings we never had, and continues to bill us despite terminating the contract. I can't do business with another company that operates like this.

AirBnB Pro integration had fast sync operation.

Too many missing guest details with VRBO integration. Had to spend hours checking bookings and manually entering in guest information into the reservation management portal.Really poor workflow with this application. Process designed by software engineers not business users. Ugly user interface and no intuitive design.Mobile app could not load over a data connection - had to connect to wifi. If you changed to a data connection it would prompt for a password then time out. Never had issues with other apps over data - except Hostaway.Mobile app locked up continuously and was unable to send out messages to guests to address their concerns. Tried restarting app and even rebooting my smartphone which was at latest OS version. Absolutely useless as a mobile app.Awkward setup process and should have better templates or examples. So many repetitive clicks when it should be defaulted.Cannot send attachments or images with automated emails. This is critical to giving our guests additional information related to check-in and finding the unit.The only thing worse than the software is their support. I received faster answers from competing applications support people and I wasn't even their customer yet! All you'll get from Hostaway is silence and excuses about support. Trying to cancel this subscription and of course you have to go through support to do so. Support doesn't answer and does nothing. Really dishonest business practice. I have no trust in this business.
